BASIC TRAINING (STCW)

Established in 2000, Pelita Maslaut (PMSB) is located at Sibu, an inland town at the central region of Sarawak in Malaysia. With the growing demands of seafarers in the Maritime industry Pelita Maslaut open its Branch Centre in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and later in Miri, Sarawak. PMSB provides maritime safety training and consultancy for seafarers in accordance with standards of STCW as set by International Maritime Organization and Malaysia Marine Department.

Pelita Maslaut has been accredited by Malaysia Marine Department as an "Approved Maritime Training Institution" to conduct all STCW and preparatory courses. Pelita Maslaut is also an ISO 9001:2008 certified organization. Pelita Maslaut is also an active member of the Malaysia Maritime Training & Institution Association (MyMET). PMSB has already delivered about 150,000 training days to seafarers in Sarawak & Sabah.
