PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN AESTHETIC MEDICINE (MALAYSIA - LCP)

The Professional Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine (LCP) is a Dual International Certificate Program for Malaysian Medical Doctors & Dentists.

The Program is primarily designed for Malaysian Medical Doctors to prepare and apply for the Malaysian Letter of Credentialing & Privileging (LCP) exam conducted by the Ministry of Health. It is also suitable for Doctors & Dentists who are beginners in Aesthetics, as well as for those who have already started and require more training in their Aesthetic practice. 

The Program is conducted ONSITE over 6-alternate weekends (12-days), over 3-months. Learners have access to the ONLINE LIBRARY for a period of 12-months, which they can use to study at their own comfort.

Learners will first undergo the theory module in Aesthetic Medicine, which is conducted by IIWAM and assured by City & Guilds of London. Learners who complete the theory module will receive the Assured Certificate in Advance Aesthetic Science from IIWAM and City & Guilds of London Institute. Learners upon completing the clinical training, will be eligible to receive the Professional Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine Certificate from European International University (EIU) during their graduation ceremony.

Upon completing the Program, Learners will be able to apply for thier local LCP-KKM board exam.Eventually, they will be able to operate an Aesthetic Centre, or work in an Aesthetic establishment, with International recognition. IIWAM's aim is to develop knowledgeable, skilled and confident Aesthetic practitioners who are ethical in their practice.

The Program consists of a theory module and a clinical module.

Theory lectures will be conducted in the morning from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm and the clinical training will be conducted from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm. The clinical training may extend beyond 4.30 pm depending on the number of cases that are being demonstrated or performed.

The theory module consists of:

• Onsite theory lectures.
• Online Learning.
• Revision.
• Written MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) exam, on the last day of the Program.

The clinical module / training consists of:

• Clinical demonstration of Aesthetic procedures by IIWAM trainers.
• Learners are then required to perform the Aesthetic procedures under supervision, and document the procedures into a clinical logbook, provided by IIWAM.
• Learners must submit the logbook within 1-year from the date of Program

IIWAM has several resident trainers and International trainers.

Most of the trainings are conducted by the resident trainers while International trainers are invited regularly for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) events. All Learners will be notified of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Programs and are encouraged to join the event.
