ADVANCED TRAINING IN BOTULINUM SCIENCE

Several practitioners administer Botulinum Toxin without understanding the principles of neurotoxin medicine in Aesthetic Medicine. The Advanced Training in Botulinum Toxin is an International Certification Program for IIWAM Graduates, as well as Aesthetic Medical Doctors & Dentists who wish to further their knowledge and skills in Botulinum Toxin Procedures. During this training, Learners will be taught to modify the dilution and the injection technique based on the presenting feature to deliver better, safer and more effective results.

The Program is conducted ONSITE over 3-continuous days, and Learners will have access to the ONLINE LIBRARY for a period of 12-months, which they can use to study at their own comfort.

Learners will undergo the theory module and clinical training in Botulinum Toxin.

Learners who complete the Advanced Training in Botulinum Toxin will receive the Certificate of Training in Botulinum Toxin (Advanced) from IIWAM.

Upon completion, Learners will be knowledgeable, skilled and confident in performing almost all Botulinum Toxin indications.

The Registration fee is USD 360 or RM 1800 (paid upon registration), and the Program fee is USD 1350 or RM 5400 (paid before the due date). Please contact IIWAM for the rebate schemes and payment plans.

The Program consists of a theory module and a clinical module.

Theory lectures will be conducted in the morning from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm and the clinical training will be conducted from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm. The clinical training may extend beyond 4.30 pm depending on the number of cases that are being demonstrated or performed.

The theory module consists of:

• Onsite theory lectures.
• Online learning.
• Viva assessment.

The clinical training consists of:

• Clinical demonstration of Aesthetic procedures by IIWAM trainers.
• Learners are then required to perform Botulinum Toxin procedures on volunteers, under supervision.

IIWAM has several resident trainers and International trainers.

Most of the trainings are conducted by the resident trainers while International trainers are invited regularly for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) events. All Learners will be notified of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Programs and are encouraged to join the event.
