Outline

  1. Project Management Concepts and Principles: This program is developed to offer more than the minimum training requirement and also more practical experience. This PMP®/CAPM® preparation program consists of extra project management training, extra practical experience by completing an in-class project, and an in-class practice exam and review. The program runs through all the processes of the Project Management Body of Knowledge.

    1. This is a 60 PDU program (this program can only be found at Collaboration)

    2. The program runs for 8 days. À la carte can be arranged.

    3. This program exceeds the minimum training requirement for PMP® and CAPM® certification

    4. This program includes a free copy of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) Guide 5th Edition

    5. This program includes a free one-year PMI® membership

    6. This program includes hundreds of exam preparation questions and a free enterprise level project management software

    7. This program is broken down into several sections:

      1. Day 1: Half day Introduction to Project Management Workshop and PMI® registration

      2. Day 2-6: 5-Day PMP®/CAPM® Preparation Program

      3. Day 7: One-Day in-class project

      4. Day 8: Half-Day practice exam and half-day review

Mohammad Asim, an integrity driven, delivery oriented and accomplished Project Management Professional (PMP®) possesses over 23 years of on-ground Program and Project Management experience with NASA (USA) Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL); political presidential campaigns of John Kerry and Barrack Obama; top tiered US telcos like Illinois AT&T, CenturyLink, Verizon and Comcast; two of the US based world’s most prestigious financial exchanges National Stock Exchange and Chicago Board Options Exchange; The City of Chicago; health care domain like WellPoint and American Imaging Management; retail entities like Costco and Blockbuster; insurance domain like Allianz Insurance and Fireman’s Fund Insurance; and government entities like US Department of Energy and Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Pakistan, to name a few.

Mohammad Asim has completed his Bachelor of Science, Majoring in Computer Information Systems and Physics and Master of Science, Majoring in Physics and his first employment as a Physicist was with Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), Illinois, USA that specializing in high-energy particle physics.

Mohammad Asim developed love for project management while working in Fermilab and became an avid Program and Project Manager within IT, Telecom, Political, Financial, Education, Retail, Government, Insurance and Health Industry domains and more; both nationally and internationally covering North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

Mohammad Asim was the key player to involve PMI Chicagoland Chapter and then PMI® to form Project Management core team for City of Chicago, USA bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics Games. He was an integral part of the Project Management Office (PMO) that created critical and realistic project models, if 2016 Summer Olympics Games were to be awarded to City of Chicago.

Mohammad Asim is currently involved with PMI® USA’s Ethics and Quality in Project Management Community of Practice (CoP) which is a global effort to create Ethics and Quality standards for Project Managers; and held the position of a Director in the PMI-Chicagoland Chapter.
