5S was developed in Japan and was identified as one of the techniques that enabled Just in Time manufacturing
It is the name of a workplace organization method that uses a list of five Japanese words: seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, and shitsuke.
5S a method of work organized in 5 stages with the goal of significantly improving the order and cleanliness.
Outline
- 5S introduction: 5 Pillars of an Effective Workplace
- Explanation & Implementation of 5S
- The First Pillar: SEIRI (remove all items those are not required in the near future)
- The Second Pillar: SEITON (put frequently use items in easily accessible places)
- The Third Pillar: SEISO (keep things clean and ready to go)
- The Fourth Pillar: SEIKETSU (create standards for each area)
- The Fifth Pillar: SHITSUKE (ensure the improvement activities are ongoing)
- Documentation & Planning Of 5s Implementation
- 5S ACTIVITIES (Will be Conducted through out the 2 Days Training)
