Many activities need to be accomplished for achieving project or operational objectives. To undertake these activities successfully many requirements have to be met. They include seeking and providing funding required, monitoring of progress in achieving targets set, interacting with vendors and suppliers, communicating with clients and provision of resources required.

These activities in turn depend on the support of other organizations, individuals as well as regulatory bodies that may impact or be impacted by the activities being undertaken. These organizations, groups or individuals are stakeholders whose needs have to be taken into consideration.

The different stakeholders may have needs and expectations that differ and at times conflict with one another. Therefore it is important that all stakeholders are clearly identified and their needs and expectations managed to minimize negative impacts that may affect the activities undertaken to meet the project deliverables.

This Stakeholder Management course is designed to increase awareness of the concept of stakeholder management and to train managers and executives on how to manage the expectations of and balance the conflicting needs of stakeholders.

It comprises a case study based approach with a high level of interaction and group based discussion geared towards developing an innate understanding of the intricacies associated with managing very diverse stakeholder expectations. It is a very practical, hands-on training program that has been designed with emphasis on interaction, participation and adult based learning.
