Course Description:
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to enable them to carry out the selection of appropriate materials for a wide range of engineering and other applications. The course also encourages the use of knowledge of a range of materials properties and skills.
Course Objectives:
The participant will know the different engineering materials, their production, general properties & applications. The method of forming & shaping plastics, ceramics and composite materials will be discussed.
A brief knowledge about corrosion will be also studied to know the different methods to protect against corrosion & to help the participant to select the suitable material for certain application.
