During the establishment of an environmental and safety management system (EHMS) or any environmental program, the organisation needs to determine how its activities and functions may impact on the community and the ecosystem.
By identifying and evaluating such harmful and pollutive activities, the organisation is able to develop applicable mitigation measures.
