The rapid evolution of technology in the area of content development tools now allows trainers and subject matter experts to create their own interactive content for the purpose of e-learning or blended learning.
Imagine being able to train your staff faster and with the latest materials at a lower cost and with more control over your own Intellectual Property.
This workshop is aimed to equip the teaching/ training community with the necessary skills to develop their own content using a very familiar tool – the MS PowerPoint.


Workshop Outcome

At the end of this course, you will be able to produce at least ONE  interactive e-learning content using MS PowerPoint.


Workshop Learning Objectives

·Able to design a courseware using appropriate instructional design  principles
·Create media assets using MS PowerPoint
·Create interactive content using MS PowerPoint


Who Should Attend?

Trainers/ Subject Matter Experts

The participants must  bring their own laptop,

The participants are familiar with MS Windows O/S or Mac O/S and MS PowerPoint.

The participants must have basic MS PowerPoint Knowledge

The participants should already have some knowledge content that they wish to convert to e-content during the hands-on session. The teaching content can be in  any form; notes, PPT, images, videos, printed materials.

Dr Azma Abdul Hamid

With more than 35 years experience in education, Dr Azma is an advocate of e-Learning. She graduated with her basic degree and a Masters in Education from Louisiana State University and pursued her post graduate studies at Teachers College, Columbia University New York. Today she is the CEO of Content Capital Sdn Bhd, an established e-learning solutions company since 2003.

She has had the opportunity to serve a public and many private universities and the corporate sector. Her teaching experiences included stints in the USA, Mexico and Malaysia. She has presented papers in many regional and national seminars and conferences. Focusing on designing teaching and learning content, she continually searches for effective and efficient modes of content delivery, which had led her path to e-learning initiatives. This has since been her passionate pet project. Her corporate experience includes being the Chief Instructional Designer, SAPURA Advanced Systems and Country Director, Green House PTE Singapore.
Her dedicated involvement in e-learning, allows her not only to implement solutions to apply the knowledge of e-learning but also to plan with industry clients especially on the area of e-content deployment. She has consulted and advised many institutions and organizations such as INTAN, Sumitomo Bank, Ambank, Maybank, Microsoft, KETTHA, Attorneys General Chambers.
In addition to this, Dr. Azma continuously seeks opportunities to work with teachers. She believes that working with teachers is an efficient way to improve the overall education, for one teacher will touch the lives of many students.
