FIRE SAFETY AWARENESS / FIRE WARDEN

At the end of the course, participants will be able to identify and list the various types of fire and emergencies that could occur in their workplace. The instructor will describe various fire incidents that have occurred throughout the world and highlight in particular one of the key lessons learnt, in that ‘Employees need to be able to respond quickly, effectively and safely’

o   Fire & Smoke Detection

LESSON 3: Portable Fire Extinguisher & Hose Reels

o   Types

o   Operation

o   Limiting Factors

o   Location

o   Correct Use       

LESSON 4: Fire Fighting Practical

o   Individually & in two person teams’ participants will be taught how to use portable Fire Extinguishers to extinguishing safety Class A, Class B and Class C Fires

Quality and consistency of the training are the most important factors in assuring high quality of instructions.  MIFFA trainers are fully qualified in respective training fields, and have extensive experiences in their relevant areas.

MIFFA will make available our most experience and competent trainers.  An assistant trainer will assist in the course where necessary.  It should be noted that MIFFA reserves the right to replace the assigned trainer with other equally competent trainer depending on their availability.
