Understand mobile crane stability and mechanical principles, assess the suitability of ground conditions. identify crane components and understand their function / safe use, read and understand load charts, identify lifting accessories and understand their function / safe use, understand crane control functions, understand the initial, pre-start up and pre-operational checks, identify the safe / unsafe operation of a mobile crane, plan lifting operations, identify   and mitigate hazards, identify and understand maintenance and certification requirements, understand man-riding, static, dynamic, blind and tandem lifting, communicate using hand signals and two-way radios.

GENERAL COURSE OBJECTIVES

 Participants will learn and understand better, among others, on:
