Ismail Hashim
Ismail Hashim holds an MBA in Total Quality Management from Newport University, USA and has earned initial training in mechanical engineering in the United Kingdom and gets professional training in management and human
capital development. He has attended the Certificate in Training and Development course of the Institute of Administrative Management, U.K. and a Certified Trainer with Human Resource Development (PSMB). He is also an Associate of the Malaysian Institute of
Management (MIM) and member of the Malaysian Association of Professional Trainers and Coaches (MAPTAC) and Trainers Excel Network (TEN). He is also an Associate Coach for the University of Malaya Continuing Education Center (UMCCEd)
and National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN).
Ismail has about 18 years of experience in the field of training, having held various executive, senior management and management positions in the education and services industry. He started his career at the Technical
Education Division of the Ministry of Education for eight years and later joined a private education institution as Principal. He was then appointed to head the Human Resource Division and was responsible for staff training and development. Prior to being
a full-time training consultant, Ismail served as the Human Resources Training Coordinator at the central level for Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Bhd. He has been managing various training in management, human resource development and quality, which are
divided into areas such as: Organizational Development, Development Management, Executive Development, Supervisor Development, Development of Support Group, Individual Development, Team Work and Team Development, Training Need Analysis and other related management
skills.
He has been involved in full-time training modules nationwide across both the public and corporate sectors. As a consultant and trainer, Ismail has helped many of his course participants use their potential through their
training sessions. He is also a consultant appointed to conduct an analysis of training requirements for Small and Medium Industries (SMI) under the Human Resources Development (PSMB) scheme. He is one of the coaches for the Graduate Employability Management
Program (GEMS) and the 1 Malaysia Training Scheme (SL1M) program run by Khazanah Nasional and
Talentcorp Malaysia.
