Food safety is about handling, storing and preparing food to prevent contamination and help to ensure that our food is clean, hygienic, safe and nutritious for a delicious and healthy meal. Unsafe food and water means that it has been exposed to dirt and germs, or may even be contaminated, which can cause food poisoning or food borne diseases such as diarrhoea, meningitis, etc.
Personal hygiene is critical when handling food that is being served to the public. At every stage of the food processing and preparation, the food products must be handled with care and common sense with basic knowledge of proper handling, storage and hygiene control.
Course Requirements
1. FHTC certified by MOH
2. Instructors certified by MOH
3. Duration: 3 hours
4. Fee: RM50 per pax
5. Participants: 10 pax (minimun) / 30 pax (maximum)
6. Additional fee will be change if you required the course to be held in others place (within KL & Selangor only).

Topic Conclusion
By the end of this topic, food handlers will be able to explain the importance of food handler training and understand the benefits of food handler training.
